You know the saying, "When life gives you lemons, make lemonade." In reality it is all about your focus. What do you choose to fixate on will make all the difference in the world.
I could chose to focus on my problems...
the abuses I have suffered
the lack of funds when I want to buy something
the gift I never got
that testy person who bugs me
the day that didn't go my way.
Or I could choose to focus on God and what He has provided for me...
Members of my family that protected me
Our needs and wants being provided for
The gifts I receive daily from God
That testy person who is refining me to be more Christlike
The day that God will use in my life to bring Him glory.
So where is your focus?
Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things. Philippians 4:8
