The Strangest Thing Will Happen (31 Days)

But now, this is what the Lord says—
    he who created you, O Jacob,
    he who formed you, O Israel:
“Fear not, for I have redeemed you;
    I have summoned you by name; you are mine.
² When you pass through the waters,
    I will be with you;
and when you pass through the rivers,
    they will not sweep over you.
When you walk through the fire,
    you will not be burned;
    the flames will not set you ablaze.
³ For I am the Lord, your God,
    the Holy One of Israel, your Savior;
I give Egypt for your ransom, Cush and Seba in your stead.  ^{Isaiah 43:1-3}

Dear Zach and Noah-

They had to pass through the waters. There was really no other option.  Yet, the strangest thing happened on that sea bed...it dried up...with a wall of water on either side.  Someone was with them that night.  Someone who would never leave them or forsake them. {Exodus 14}

They had to walk through the fire.  There was really no other option.  Yet, the strangest thing happened in that furnace.  A Stranger walked with them!  It was because of the Stranger that they were in the fire in the first place.  Because they wouldn't bow to anyone or anything but the Stranger. {Daniel 3}

You will have to go through life's trials.  There really is no other option.  Yet, the strangest thing will happen.  God will show up.  He will walk with you. He will protect you.  He will never leave you or forsake you.
