September Blessings

Monday, September 3, 2012

I am continuing to count my blessings.  What a difference it makes to look for what I have than what I don't.

-Great Sunday School class
-Humor from my students
-Leftovers (I don't have to cook!)
-Creasing to strive
-Financial blessings
-The sound of rain
-Some great new Spanish students
-Strength from God
-A long weekend
-An apology
-Awesome discussions with my boys on Biblical concepts
-Extra time to make meals
-Harvesting the garden

-Preparing the garden/greenhouse for winter
-Youth that are willing to help out
-Reading through Isaiah
-Date night with Tim
-Extra time to sleep and get caught up on rest after our vacation
-Realizing that I don't have to take is better to leave it in God's hands
-Reading The Dangerous Book for Dogs: A Parody  (Hilarious!)
-A long weekend
-A fire with s'mores out in the backyard
-Showing God's forgiveness
-A Sunday siesta
-Fellowship with the hurting (giving me a tender heart)

Nice to find you Debbie. My daughter is an artist and plans to be an architect, like her Dad (so I relate to your blog name). Except he ended up being a pastor. Anyway, I'm envious of those vegetables and the fact that you are preparing for winter when we are having record highs and sweating here on the coast.
