“When you wear the weed of impatience in your heart instead of the flower Acceptance-with-Joy, you will always find your enemies get an advantage over you.”
Hannah Hurnard, Hinds' Feet on High Places

I am learning this week to accept all things with joy...

-A mocha frappe
-Parks and playing kids
-Sleepover for Noah
-A compassionate son
-A son that loves to serve
-Birds darting here and there
-Swings to sit in
-That God turns the evil to good
-Watching Noah practice his soccer skills
-Warm sunny days after the rain
-Fresh fruit and veggies
-The gift of prayer
-The smell of freshly cut grass
-Huge rhubarb plants
-A love of reading
-Boys growing taller
-Mother/son time
-Seeing a woodpecker in our backyard instead of just hearing it
-Noah's sharp eyes for different types of birds
-Being overwhelmed by the gifts God has given
-New teaching series in Sunday School
-Memories of my own childhood
-Fancy footwork with a soccer ball
-Playing soccer with Noah
-The discovery of another robin's nest by a friend
-How He works all things together
-The cry of river gulls
-How God moves a whole group of people in one direction
-Reading Hinds' Feet On High Places again and really enjoying it
-Interceding for others
-The awesomeness of grace
-Getting a free book

-Eye opening sermons
-New paint
-My "Facebook Fast"
-Learning to reject temptation
-How those hard, awkward situations grow us.
-That He sees my struggles
-That we come forth as gold because of all the trials
