We traditionally have a visitor every March 17th. While we never really see him, we have a hunch that he hails from the Emerald Isle.
NOTE: To have your own green visitor you need gold-covered chocolate coins, a box of Lucky Charms, and a washable green stamp pad. The feet are made by making a fist and stamping the part of your hand near the pinky. The toes are made with your fingerprints (the pinky finger is used for the small toes and the thumb for the big toe.)

What fun! When my older boys went to school, their kindergarten teacher had the kids build a
'trap' to find the leprechan. They both thought it was a blast.
