The Shelter of God's Promises by Sheila Walsh

Can we be sure of God's promises? What are His promises? Sheila Walsh attempts to answer these questions in her book, The Shelter of God's Promises.

Sheila covers several areas where God's promises reach us: provision, peace, confidence, love, grace, home, hope and strength. There is a chapter on each of these concepts in which Sheila takes stories from the Bible to show how God does indeed fulfill His promises. Her writing is thought-provoking and heart-moving.  I acutally cried during parts of it as the book began to touch on some areas that I struggle with.

I would highly recommend this book if you want to delve deeper into what God promises us. In the back, there are Bible study questions in case you would want to go through this book with a group (or even on your own).
