Summer in Full Swing

Friday, July 2, 2010

I missed the Weekly Wrap-up last week as things have been crazy around here. We have family up visiting. We are still in the midst of summer activities: swim lessons, camps, etc. The little bit of school that we are doing is math review.  Zach is reviewing fractions with Life of Fred and Noah is working on his multiplication facts.

This week I spent some time gathering work samples from the boys school year as keepsakes.  Each year I pull a few items that they have worked on that will eventually go into scrapbooks.  I am also ordering the last bit of school materials so that we can get started in August.  Here is one of the fun items that we will be getting...

I need to start setting up the boys notebooks for their various subjects and getting their schedule set up of what needs to be done each day...but I figure I have about a month to work on that!

I am James McDermott. My wife Cindy and I have been blessed by God with 13 children. We also homeschool and believe in purity in the courtship process. Above all, we are Christians. We recently started a website called Christian family meeting place (www.christianfamilymeetingplace.com). Many who hold our views are isolated and are looking for online fellowship, personal fellowship, churches, and even spouses. I am inviting you to register. It is free. If you're not interested, that is perfectly fine. May God bless you in all you do for Him. - In the Vine, Jim for Cindy and the rest
P.S. We also publish SALT Magazine. If you would like to check us out go to www.saltmagazine.com
