Favorite books

Thursday, August 19, 2010

This week at The Homeschool Village we are talking about favorite books....

For my oldest who is 13: The Mysterious Benedict Society series

For my youngest who is 9: Bill Wallace's dog books like Pick of the Litter

I am not sure if the above books would be considered great literature. These are more fun for the boys to read. Recently, we have enjoyed reading aloud Shadow Spinner and discussing how stories can affect our lives.

There are so many great books out there it is hard to choose!
