I have a love/hate relationship with Christmas! There I said it! I dislike the pressure it puts on me to get the "extras" done to make the season "merry and bright". However, I LOVE Christmas! I love the family time. I love the lights. I love the music. But most of all,  I love that it is the time to remember the greatest Gift ever given. The real part of Christmas! Join me in December as we write out the Christmas stories from three of the gospels. Look for the details you have missed before, but whatever you do don't miss the arrival of the Savior!

A Note About 2019
I have a heavy heart as I type these words. I have LOVED doing "Think On These Things" with you! I have loved what God's Word has taught me just through the simple act of copying His words. I have loved seeing the details I have missed before. I have loved interacting with many of you on Instagram and in real life about the verses. Your thoughts and words of encouragement have meant so much to me! However, I will not be continuing with Think On These Things in the new year. I have done three full years of writing plans {You can find them all here.}, but for now it is time for me to move on. I probably won't stop writing out God's Word...I will continue to dig deep into what He has to say, but I know because of my schedule I can't commit to creating more plans and daily posting my thoughts. If you joined me in the middle of my three years of plans feel free to go back to some that you missed. If you traveled the whole way with me, all I can say is "WOW"! I'm totally impressed! I will continue to post my journey here and there on Instagram. I am not totally going away! 😊 Thank you for sharing your time with me and for being a part of my life. You have blessed me in ways I can't express!

If you would like all the Think on These Things verses or want to know more about it, click here. To read about the benefits of Scripture writing, see this post.

During the month I try to post my thoughts on the verses on Instagram. If you would like to follow me you can find me here. Also, if you are posting your own thoughts there please use the hashtag #thinkonthesethings. I would love to read how God speaks to you!!

Supplies
There are many ways you can use these verses. You can read and meditate on them. You can write them out as you meditate on them. You can read them and then write about them in a journal or journaling Bible. You could do verse mapping with them (See this post). Here are some of the items I use...

A single column journaling Bible allows you to make notes in the margins.

ESV Single Column Journaling Bible (TruTone, Chestnut, Leaves Design)
ESV Single Column Journaling Bible (Black)
ESV Single Column Journaling Bible (Brown, Flap with Strap)

Some highlighters {These are my absolute favorites!}...

Eco Highlighter Pencils - Set of 5 Colors

Black pens are great for writing out the verses...

Black Ink Pen Set
Black Artist Pen Set

I love these journals that lay flat...easier to write in! They are great for Scripture writing!
Studio Oh! Deconstructed Journals
