Lately I have been enjoying avocadoes from Azure Standard. I normally make guacamole and homemade tortillas for lunch for myself. Since I am the only one in the house that likes guacamole, I get it all to myself! Yum! For guacamole I don't use a recipe. I normally smash up one avocado. To this I add some salsa and the juice of half a small lime. I then season with a bit of salt and pepper.
For homemade tortillas I found this recipe that uses olive oil instead of shortening.

ReplyDeleteDo your tortillas stay soft? I made them the other day with a butter recipe and they got very hard. I am going to try oil. I think I may have over cooked them.
Mine stay soft for awhile...maybe overcooking is the problem.
